Frances Ryan School of Dance, under the direction of Frances, has been established since 1994 and is a fully registered school with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, (ISTD). We offer training for children and students from age 3 up to Pre-professional level. Students of the school are taught Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre Dance, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop/ Commercial, Acro, Contemporary and Lyrical. We also have a performance team made up of students from age 8 upwards. We are very excited to now offer students the ‘Dancing with a Difference’ programme. Every year pupils of the school work either towards taking dance examinations with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, or are prepared for stage work through a fully staged School Production. The School has a 100% success rate to date in all exams taken, with the majority of students receiving Distinctions. Senior Students are prepared for the professional exams of the ISTD, thus giving them the opportunity if they wish, to continue their studies in dance colleges both in Ireland and abroad, and then onwards to become Professional Teachers and/or Professional Dancers.
